Cashless payments on Kulula flights

Kulula.com are currently testing a cashless payment system on its flights. The airline told the media that this will eliminate the need for passengers to use cash for payments. Many airlines allow cash payments but the airline feels that this change is in the best interest of the customers. “This exciting product is still in the development and testing phase, and we can confirm that both credit and debit cards will be accepted as payment,” said Lavery.

Lavery added payment device used will not be the traditional point-of-sale device and is said to a first in South Africa

The airline declined to comment on which connectivity solutions will be used to process the in-flight payments.
